Extending the Auction
Due to the overwhelming success of donations that have been flowing in, I have decided to extend the auction another week until next Saturday, October 16th. The auction officially opens today! please don't hesitate to call or email if you have questions!! Here's how it works: If you would like to make a donation, simply comment on the painting(s) that you are interested in buying with your name and amount you would like to donate. Please note that if you place your bid but do not end up as the final bidder, please do not feel obliged to donate that amount but any amount of donation is appreciated!! The auction will officially end at 9:00 PM (Central Time) on Saturday, October 9th. Note - donations exceeding $50 merit a copy of the Gandhi posted below.

my sincere apologies....com or .org?
To all of those that have receive the fundraising letter and tried to access this blog from the .org site rather than the .com, I apologize for the typo! The letter says both .com and .org but please note the blog is located at www.paintforperu.blogspot.com! also, the correct site for the fundraising page is http://donations.globalvolunteers.org. So very sorry for the confusion!
